OOAK SUITES AT MONT KIARA KUALA LUMPUR

Great location and perfect for two guests!

Pros: The apartment was great, the location was great, it had most of what we needed for our stay. We loved staying at The Ooaks, having previously lived across the road.

Cons: The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, bedding was not provided, despite emailing to say that my son would be sleeping on it. A toaster would also have been great and also the lack of cutlery was weird.

Pros: Is a nice warm unit, quite neighbours,a lot of facilities and many kind of restaurants around. Can enter to the mall directly from the building.

Cons: No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

A very convenient stay in Mont Kiara

Pros: The unit is big. Nice and clean. Easy to check in with clear instruction. The apartment is attached to a shopping mall, a lot of restaurant and others, very convenient to stay. The best part is the salt water pool and the jacuzzi! I end up swim there almost everyday on my stay. The staff is very responsive to the question. I will definately stay again next time!

Cons: The ramp up to the parking lot is a bit confusing and tight. No other thing that I dont like

Pros: Host is very nice and responsive. During arrival the bedsheet was not clean but host sent a cleaner to change it immediately.

Cons: Some areas were dusty/not cleaned properly. The YouTube on smart tv load very slowly despite high speed internet

Pros: Just next to the 163 Retail park. You can find almost everything there. Pool is so nice so we swim everyday even though some days were raining.

Cons: Perhaps beds are not enough for 4 persons.

Pros: This is my third stay at The Ooak in Mont Kiara. In my previous stays, there were issues like lack of cleanliness. But this unit is the best one I’ve rented among different landlords at The Ooak. In my experience, this unit is better than the ones managed by The Ooak itself.

Cons: However, in rental apartments, unlike hotels, the host can ensure basic cleanliness but might miss some facility issues. There was a problem with the washing machine drainage (I fixed it myself because it wasn’t a difficult issue) and a minor issue with the sink drainage (I ignored it as it needed disassembling the sink). In my opinion, regular checks every 2-3 months are necessary. Other than that, The Ooak in Mont Kiara is great for long-term stays due to the area’s nature, but it may not be ideal for tourists. However, Malaysia’s affordable Grab service makes this less of an issue. It offers a comfortable lifestyle for nomads tired of rougher places like Bali, but it might not be very exciting.

Family friendly place

Pros: The place is clean, beautiful, convenient and well maintained facilities. Also a very safe place! Lots of fun things to do as a family and many activities for kids. Will come back and stay here again.

Cons: Nothing to fault

I would rate this property 1000/10 if I could

Pros: Literally everything. All of the necessary items were available in the unit, and it was clean and well equipped. In addition to its strategic location, the property was connected to a mall / retail park. Check-in process was easy and smooth. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Peaceful quiet, good security, easy access to the mall for food and shopping. The host was exceptionally considerate, responsive and helpful! Will definitely return👍
