A fine hotel in a great location

Pros: Our room had a great view of Merdeka 118, so we could see it at night and day. The room was comfortable with plenty of drawer and hanging space. The aircon worked well. Location was ideal for ChinaTown, with loads of restaurants within easy walking distance and Petaling Street market 2 minutes away. The room was quiet, the lifts came quickly, daily room service left us plenty of drinking water. Nothing not to like.

Cons: During our stay the hotel had a planned 4 hour “ shutdown” to test equipment, with no electricity, lift service, air con etc. They didn’t inform us of this until we checked in. However, they did make sure we were aware of it once we had checked in, and also phoned our room to advise us the day before. In the event we just had to make sure we structured our day so we didn’t need to go to the hotel during that time, and services were resumed when they said they would be. I understand the last time this happened was 6 years ago, so not a frequent occurrence

Pros: Great location, with a refreshing pool and handy hotel bar offering a view of the city landscape. Room was a good size, clean and with a terrific view. Bonus was the Yellow Brick coffee shop. Close to public transport.

Stay here for great location, transport options and quality rooms

Pros: Great location for Chinese new year & Chinatown action. Near transport to anywhere. Very clean spacious rooms. Appreciated hotel’s lion dance, dragon & crackers!

Cons: Nothing of note, would prefer ‘real’ coffee option at breakfast, but this is no different to other hotels in KL

Cons: Reception on level 7 - so no immediate welcome. Lifts slow at busy times, so allow extra time.

Very comfortable short stay

Pros: The hotel was very easy to find - look up from MRT station Pasar Seni to see where the hotel is a 10minute walk away. Easy access to and from the airport via MRT & KLIA Express. Close to Chinatown and Central Market, plenty of good bars & restaurants. Best shower and comfortable beds.

Cons: The pool is near the lobby so not very private or comfortable. Would be nice if guests could fill their own water bottles from a large central filtered water reservoir to reduce waste.

It was great.

Pros: Location was convenient and close to everything. Price was good for the comfort and location you're getting. Hotel has basic gym/pool facilities which is good enough.

Cons: Check-In and Check-Out could have been much better. Waited a while for both check-in and check-out. Only 2 staffs to attend to the many that were there.
