Traveller Ark Hotel and Bunks

Pros: Staff was very responsive and set up self-check in when I informed them that my flight was delayed. The environment felt modern and fresh. Even though my stay was short (6 hours for a quick sleep), it was enjoyable and had everything I needed. The shared space to enjoy the views and rest looked great, but I did not get a chance to explore. Thank you for the stay!

Comfy

Pros: This hostel was great to chill out in the heart of KL. It wasn’t very social but is far better value than other hostels like Mingle. Comfy beds with curtains as well as good shower.

Pros: Great location. Right in the middle of chinatown which was a bit noisy during the day, but too be expected. Really helpful staff

Im older solo traveller but l felt seen and catered for

Pros: Staff went above and beyond to make sure you were happy 😊 l also was able to get my washing picked up ( flyer in lobby - again staff assisted me ) and back to me on the same day !! ( which was great as all my clothes needed washing !! )

Cons: The guest house is situated 100m down the main market thus no cars can enter. Luckily my driver could carry my case for me ( and when l left the staff assisted me to where l got my taxi ( l needed help as l had hurt my shoulder ) if you have mobility issues probably not the best option here

Pros: Really central location, good sized room and really friendly and helpful staff. Super clean and great common area.

Cons: Can be quite loud from the market, but only till about 11pm.

Value for money, clean sleeping pod with excellent hospitality

Pros: I've stayed at this hostel three times now, and i feel confident sharing my experience. It offers some of the best value for money i've come across. The pillow, blanket, and bed sheets are always spotless and clean. The shared rooms are quite at night, making it easy to sleep. The lounge has a cozy atmosphere ,filled with the comforting aromo of coffee. A special kudos to the barista Justin--who prepares great coffee, i love the flat white, and always deliver excellent hospitality!

Pros: Staff was great, very helpfull and with great recomondations. The commonspaces are small, but comfy. Rooftop and terrace are nice. Drinks can be bought at the reception and the coffee was great.

Pros: Super nice hostel. We had a double room with our own bathroom and that was soo comfy! It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. There were two bottles of water, a kettle and coffee (plus mugs) in the room. The bathroom was tiny but still comfortable and there they provided toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and body gel. In the lobby (which is also nice to hang out) is a water dispenser and a great terrace. The hostel is located right at petaling street. Perfect!
