Pros: The location is excellent being close to train network, the staff were exceptionally helpful and someone was there day and night just in case there are any problems.

Cons: Nothing really taking into consideration the exceptional value for money.

Pros: The location was very central in the vibrant and interesting china town bar area of Kuala Lumpur. The staff was super helpful, nice and friendly. We were allowed to enter our room way before the normal 2pm. Our double bed private room was nice with a working air condition and windows to the street that could be opened. The shared hangout area was quite big and there is a nice rooftop bar on top of the building.

Cons: For the amount of money, this hostel was very good. But still, we have to say that the condition of the house, and the room could be better. In the entrance staircase, there is a heavy, unpleasant smell. The shower toilets work but sometimes the warm water doesn't. As so often in Malaysia and quite normal for these wet climates, there is molt in the shower toilets. In the shared kitchen it is only allowed to warm food up, not to cook.

Pros: Good AC, wifi was fine. Bed was comfortable, it was silent enough.

Cons: Bathrooms are run down, always wet. As others mentioned, I dont think only backpackers stay there. I am happy I had the private room, i would never sleep with those people in a dorm...

Pros: I have stayed at Travel Hub guesthouse many times over the years and while the reception and first floor area changes the funadmentals don't. It is a great place to stay and well run by very friendly and professional staff - particularly the rather friendly gentleman from Shlah Alam. The location is incredibly excellent and only a 5 min walk from the LRT Pasar Seni in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's China Town.

Cons: Some people may not like the fact that the guesthouse appears to be a place where a lot of local workers in the food and beverage industry tend to stay but I like that aspect as these are the very people who will give you the low down on the local area of where to go and what to eat and are respectful to temporary stayers.

I'd definitely come back here to stay next time...

Pros: It is a short distance away from important landmarks around the Chinatown. You can get to Pasar Seni within minutes and access buses and trains from there to many main destinations in Kuala Lumpur. The staff were friendly, especially the gentleman with the tattoos and glasses. He would help and give you some top tips and ask how your day's been. Very friendly. I stayed in the mixed dormitory room. It's always a good idea to bring a padlock with you as there were lockers for you to store your stuff. The air conditioner worked pretty well and it was relatively quiet. I slept well. The bed was clean, no bedbugs. One of the highlights was the bar at the rooftop. It was so cool. I loved the vibe. You could enjoy a wide range of drinks from beer, cocktails, local tuak for one or two, or even more if you want. Cool spot to spend time after a long adventure during the day.

Cons: One of the showers did not work so I went to another one. Unfortunately the soap dispenser was empty. However, it won't be a problem if you bring your own toiletries.

Pros: Big thanks to the staff, especially Jim, who helped me wherever they could. Stayed for a few weeks, can really recommend that place.

Recommended, great location. Good value for money.
