Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade

Pros: Clean rooms, excellent housekeeping, room service, and breakfast buffet, courteous staff. Fantastic view from our room and floor. Central location and close to all attractions and malls. Grab was available at all times and we did not have to travel more than 15-20 max to mist destinations from the hotel. Would highly recommend the stay here at Mercure Shaw P!

Great stay

Pros: Nice spacious room with great view. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with shops and restaurants around. Close to Berjaya Times Square.

Cons: Sometimes things ran out at the breakfast and were not refilled anymore at 9.15. Sometimes breakfast got really crowded. Big tour groups making noise at corridors, cutting lines during breakfast etc.

Great room, excellent service

Pros: Great value, very comfortable. (Lukman did a great job keeping our room clean, tidy and stocked)

We would return and recommend Mercure for your room, but not for your breakfast

Pros: The room is Superb, we love the room that is cool, quiet, warrant our good night sleep (this is the most important for us). The pillow choices could be improve, as the current pillows are a bit high and hard; this was solved by requesting additional blanket to make a pillow. Breakfast - I do believe that Mercure has good variety; however the food quality requires improvement significantly. Started from your porridge was watery. Fried egg was overcooked and greasy, the option was not offer and the station often unattended.

Cons: Breakfast Greeter - whilst I do understand if the person has communicable disease like Influenza that requires them to wear face covering, but it is creating a bit off putting impression when you greet your guests wearing face covering. I do believe smiles in the morning would go along way in our interactions. Breakfast - coordination between front desk, service staff and culinary staff are required, to ensure 0630 breakfast opening is achieved as advertised during check in. In all honesty, the overall breakfast service needs to be more \

Pros: Location was really good.In the town centre and 10 minutes drive to the attractions.

Cons: Egg station lady could have been more accomodating as she refused to nake scrambled eggs with onion/chilli even though she made that for me on the first day but overall,The staff were very good.
